Iper La grande i is seeking a skilled Gastronomia Specialist to join its team in Milano Portello (MI).

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Cook a variety of dishes using different cooking techniques.
  • Package and store food products in a clean and organized manner.
  • Restock and rotate food products in the gastronomy department.
  • Check expiration dates and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist customers in finding products and providing information on food options.
  • Report any issues or problems to the supervisor.
  • Manage the food inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen and equipment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage stress and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience as a Gastronomia Specialist is an asset.
  • Diploma in hospitality or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
