Job Summary:

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Project Installation Manager to lead site operations and ensure the successful installation and commissioning of our railway systems. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for planning and managing all site activities, including site facilities, resources, and tools. You will also be responsible for delivering and maintaining plans, procedures, and work method statements for installation and test & commissioning. Additionally, you will manage work packages assigned for site operations, installation works for all sub-systems and system equipment, and related performance. You will also be responsible for managing subcontractors, including monitoring quality and delivery through site visits, inspections, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage all site operations in close cooperation with PM, Installation Engineering, and Design activities.
  • Ensure integration on field and installation of the complete System.
  • Manage work packages assigned for site operations, installation works for all sub-systems and system equipment, and related performance.
  • Manage subcontractors, including monitoring quality and delivery through site visits, inspections, and assessments.
  • Coordinate Installation Engineering & Design for the complete System, based on all necessary inputs provided by the Sub-System Engineering Industrial, Procurement, and Logistics activities.
  • Deploy and apply Signalling Installation Process on Site.
  • Assure continuous Installation performance improvement within the Project.
  • Contribute to best practices definition and REX within the Product Line.
  • Participate in Process / "Metier" improvement workgroup when requested, to propose update/improvement of the Installation and T&C way of working, process, tools, and RefLib.
  • Assure EHS compliance (Zero deviation) through EHS plan, site inspections, people assessment, etc.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in field work execution in the railway sector.
  • Strong understanding of interface processes between civil works and rail sub-systems.
  • Experience in Environment, Health & Safety, knowledge of local legal requirements.
  • Experience in management and evaluation of subcontractors.
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills.
  • Possess the agility to adapt to change in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment.

Location:
We can hire in our Sites of Bologna, Florence, Rome, or Bari.

Mandatory requirement:
Availability to travel in Italy and work in field also 5 days per week.
