We are looking for a R&D Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Pisa, Italy, for electrolyser and stack development and validation.

This role offers the opportunity to work on various technical challenges and be part of a dynamic environment.

The key aspects of your responsibilities will be:

  • Setting up experimental tests and studies in the R&D department.
  • Elaborating test reports based on test plans and experimental measurements.
  • Working independently on specific tasks but collaborating with other team members.
  • Communicating proficiently with other teams and departments due to the interdisciplinary nature of the R&D Team.

To achieve our goals, we need individuals who are enthusiastic about green hydrogen's potential and possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Energy Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the engineering field, preferably in R&D departments.
  • An hands-on approach to running experiments involving mechanical and electrical components.
  • Excellent knowledge of wide engineering principles, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mechanical, and electrical principles.
  • Good knowledge of industrial sensors, data acquisition, and communication protocols.
  • Experience working with devices handling hydrogen or similar gases will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in prototyping and experimental setup is highly recommended.
  • The ability to develop new ideas into practical and measurable deliverables.
  • MS Office pack knowledge is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab is an asset.
