Job Summary:
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing service activities on customer sites, including maintenance, installation, and site inspections, in accordance with the Quality and Reliability Control (QRC) process and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field service activities on customer sites, including maintenance, installation, and site inspections, in accordance with QRC and customer requirements.
- Provide proper documentation to customers after each activity.
- Report complaints timely and support the follow-up process.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure adequate quantity and type of material based on assigned products and customer needs.
- Maintain valid certification on assigned products.
- Be responsible for instruments and tools assigned, following company rules and calibration plan.
- Create synergies with sales representatives in the field.
- Provide after-sales support and training to customers.
Customer Contact Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, including pre-clarifying technical issues, defining scheduling for visits, and providing updates on service activities.
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of products and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent Italian and basic English language skills.
