About the Role

Costa Cruises, a leading cruise line, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tour Expert to join their team. As a Tour Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of tour programs, generating revenue, and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with guests to generate new business and increase revenue.
  • Maximize revenue for the tour area by suggesting new opportunities and promoting tour packages.
  • Oversee the organization of excursions and transfers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Monitor guest activities during excursions to ensure a high level of service and safety.
  • Report guest needs and opportunities for new products and services to the Tour Manager.
  • Provide language translations during excursions to ensure seamless communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary school diploma in Tourism or Languages.
  • Experience in Sales or as a Tour Operator is highly desirable.
  • Excellent sales skills and computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in English and German (B2/C1 level).
  • Knowledge of two further languages (Italian, French, Spanish) is required if not Italian mother tongue.
