About the Role

Costa Cruises, a leading cruise line, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tour Expert to join their team. As a Tour Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of tour programs, generating revenue, and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with guests on board and on tours to generate new business and increase revenue.
  • Maximize revenues for the tour area by suggesting new opportunities and promoting tour packages.
  • Oversee the organization of excursions and transfers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Monitor guest activities during excursions to ensure compliance with service standards and safety procedures.
  • Report to the Tour Manager on guest needs, interests, and opportunities for new products and services.
  • Provide language translations during excursions to guarantee the language service during tours.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary school diploma in Tourism or Languages.
  • Experience in Sales or as a Tour Operator is a plus.
  • Sales skills are a plus.
  • Computer literacy.
  • English knowledge B2.
  • German knowledge B2/C1.
  • If not Italian mother tongue, the knowledge of two further languages (Italian, French, Spanish – B2/C1) is required.
