Project Operations Specialist

At ABB, we are looking for a highly skilled Project Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for defining project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and at least 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager. Additionally, they should have knowledge in automation systems, particularly DCS, and be fluent in Italian and proficient in written and verbal English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
  • Ensure project execution follows best practices and ABB policies.
  • Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization, project financials, and project invoicing status.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risk, and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned throughout the project and ensure project formal closure, as contractually agreed.

Requirements:

  • Engineering background.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Knowledge in automation systems, particularly DCS.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in written and verbal English.
