Job Title: Project Planner and Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planner and Coordinator to join our team at Jefferson Wells. As a key member of our Project & Program Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Client, a prestigious Multinational Company operating in the advanced electronic, automation, and naval technologies sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in the validation of the Target Program, ensuring consistency with contractual requirements and compatibility with the needs of other Units involved.
  • Prepare and update the Master Plan, serving as a programmatic reference document for all Functions based on order documents available at the start-up phase and production advances to be taken as reference for the programming of upstream activities.
  • Support the Lead Project Engineer and Purchasing Coordinator in monitoring the Engineering Plans and supply program, respectively.
  • Monitor the program's progress based on yard documents, including progress reports, integrated production programs, and workshop detail programs, with evidence provided to the Project Manager of deviations from preventive curves.
  • Develop programmatic simulations on relevant issues and/or the feasibility of strategic choices.
  • Collaborate with Functions to develop detailed programs and integration between Functions on critical paths.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Management Engineering, Naval Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience in a similar role, gained in companies operating by order.
  • Excellent level of knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Ability to use Excel and good level of knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Primavera and MS Project is preferred.
  • Personal characteristics including flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, ability to team-work, complete problem-solving profile, economic and organizational sensitivity, result orientation, and availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
