Senior Consultant Energy Storage

Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking for a challenging role in a dynamic team? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Energy Storage to join our Southern Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Africa (SEMELA) Energy Storage Team.

About the Role

As a Senior Consultant Energy Storage, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality advisory services to our clients in the energy storage sector. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our clients in the development, implementation, and operation of energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and manage energy storage related advisory projects, including feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and owners engineering.
  • Extend your external network and identify, drive, and facilitate sales and market-led opportunities for energy storage.
  • Analyze new business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and ensure distribution of knowledge amongst relevant colleagues.
  • Achieve sales as per targets agreed with the Storage Team Lead.
  • Build an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering subject.
  • 5+ years' experience in the renewable energy sector, with 2+ years providing engineering and/or consultancy services and 2+ years in the area of energy storage systems and applications.
  • Familiar with feasibility studies, technical due diligence processes, and owners engineering services.
  • Technical expertise in battery energy storage technology, electrical balance of plant design & specifications.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Delivery and results-oriented, with the ability to manage conflicting work priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Analysis and judgement skills, with the ability to quickly understand and analyze complex issues.
  • Networking skills, with the ability to build good personal and professional relationships.
  • Work ethic, with a strong commitment to the Company's principles, vision, and values.
  • Communicates and influences in a clear, open, active, and honest manner.
  • Proven ability to produce clear written reports and communicate verbally in English and Italian.
  • Good IT skills, with experience in using MS Office suite packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Project development or EPC experience with energy storage or renewables.
  • Knowledge of transmission & distribution networks and experience in load flow modelling.
  • Knowledge of renewables (wind, PV) technology & project development.
  • Familiarity with contracts (construction, supply, operations, interconnection, offtake, and/or asset management contracts).
