We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Energy Consultant to join our team at DNV Germany Holding GmbH. As a Senior Energy Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering expert energy storage advisory services to our clients in the Southern Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Africa (SEMELA) region.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and manage energy storage related advisory projects, including feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and owners engineering.
- Develop and drive bidding processes for energy storage related opportunities in Iberia, serving as the primary point of contact for customers with energy storage projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver independent and owners engineering services across the SEMELA region.
- Extend your external network and identify, drive, and facilitate sales and market-led opportunities for energy storage.
- Analyze new business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and ensure knowledge distribution amongst relevant colleagues.
- Achieve sales targets agreed with the Storage Team Lead.
- Build an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering subject.
- 5+ years' experience in the (renewable) energy sector, with 2+ years providing engineering and/or consultancy services and 2+ years in the area of energy storage systems and applications.
- Familiarity with Feasibility Studies, Technical Due Diligence processes, and Owners Engineering Services.
- Technical expertise in battery energy storage technology, electrical balance of plant design specifications.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, provide sound judgments, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to produce clear written reports and communicate verbally in English and Italian.
- Good IT skills, experienced in using MS Office suite packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
