Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Syneos Health. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in communicating with internal stakeholders and building collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders, policymakers, and advocates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Expertise: Develop and maintain outstanding knowledge of immuno-oncology, staying up-to-date on the latest clinical and scientific data.
  • Raise Awareness and Advance Pipeline Programs: Raise awareness and advance pipeline and clinical development programs among healthcare professionals and develop collaborative relationships.
  • External Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute an external stakeholder engagement plan, within the scope of ongoing and planned clinical studies.
  • Clinical Trial Support: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Principal Investigators and clinical trial sites to support clinical and medical affairs leadership direction.
  • Scientific Query Response: Respond to scientific queries from healthcare professionals and for pipeline products in development, based on Medical Affairs, Research and Development, and Medical Information documents.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience as an MSL or Clinical Development experience.
  • Education: Advanced degree (MD, PhD) highly preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Oncology required, expertise in Immuno-Oncology highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Research: Knowledge of clinical research design and GCP in the oncology area.
  • Local Healthcare Systems: Demonstrate a strong understanding of local healthcare systems, treatment guidelines in assigned geographies/countries.
