ID FG013 Electrical Systems Transfer Specialist

The ideal candidate will be integrated into the relevant department and will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Overseeing wiring operations on machinery and troubleshooting any issues or defects;

- Conducting tests and evaluations of equipment;

- Configuring and setting parameters for automation components (such as drives, network switches, machine PCs, and IP addresses for fieldbus nodes);

- Installing and maintaining machinery and systems at client locations;

- Coordinating local personnel to execute site operations;

- Providing training for external technicians on machinery operation;

- Initiating plant start-ups and overseeing operations;

- Compiling technical reports regarding the proper execution of testing activities;

- Engaging directly with both internal and external stakeholders (workshop, engineering, clients).

Background Experience

We are looking for candidates with a background in Electrical/Electronic/Electrotechnical Technical or professional education, who have accumulated 1 to 2 years in a similar position within the Industrial Automation sector.

Essential qualifications include a strong ability to interpret electrical schematics, experience in testing and wiring control panels, and familiarity with automation components (inverters, drives, motors, etc.).

A collaborative mindset, operational focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external parties, including clients, are crucial to this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

A willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis, including outside of Europe (approximately 150 days per year), is necessary to fulfill the responsibilities at client sites.

Proficiency in the English language (minimum B1 level, preferably B2) is required for effective communication with international clients and for training external technicians, along with knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Knowledge of the French language will be considered an advantageous asset during the selection process.
