ThyssenKrupp Presta AG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Erection and Commissioning Hub in Italy. As the Head of Erection and Commissioning Hub, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a concept for the local hub and overseeing its build-up from inception to full operation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategy for the Erection and Commissioning Hub, aligning with the company's business objectives and global targets.
- Manage and lead a team of professionals, shaping the hub from day one and ensuring its success.
- Coordinate the build-up of the Erection and Commissioning Hub, including defining the scope of activities, needed capabilities, and organizational sizing.
- Ensure that strategies and processes are in line with the company's objectives and global best practices.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the hub's performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain a high level of competence within the erection and commissioning teams.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including the Head of Erection and Commissioning, sales teams, engineering teams, and service teams, to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
- Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget planning, monitoring budget expenditure, and playing an active role in resource planning and organization.
- Fluent in English (German and other European languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel, especially to Germany and out of Europe, for plant site visits.
- Proven track record of experience in MA transactions and building up new businesses in new locations.
- Strong business and management background, with a mechanical and chemical background being a plus.
- Customer-centric, fact-based, and data-driven approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively on all levels within the company and with clients/suppliers in written and verbal form.
- Previous professional experience gained in plant erection, commissioning, and service supervision (6 years).
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to operate cross-functionally as a team player.
