Senior Commissioning and Service Engineer for Building Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning and Service Engineer for Building Automation to join our team at Siemens S.p.A. in Milan. As a key member of our Services Smart Infrastructure division, you will be responsible for commissioning and maintaining building automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Commissioning and maintenance of building automation systems, including programming and integration of third-party components
- Support and commissioning using innovative digital solutions and tools
- Remote and on-site customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Coordination of on-site operations and delivery activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to organizational guidelines
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, ensuring compliance with execution best practices and Siemens policies
- Participation in technical design and development of commissioning and service offerings
- Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies
- Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Information Technologies/Electrical/Automation Engineering
- Proven experience as a Technical Engineer in comfort products
- Knowledge of standard communication protocols (BACNET, KNX, LON, MODBUS, DALI)
- Knowledge of popular computer technologies (Windows desktop and server operating systems, IP networks)
- Knowledge of basic operating principles of air conditioning, electrical, and lighting systems
- Knowledge and ability to read electrical panel diagrams
- Knowledge of and ability to program the PXC product family (considered a preference)
- Knowledge of and ability to program the Desigo CC platform (considered a plus)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate and prepared to manage issues related to technological innovation and prioritize effectively
- Strong orientation to reach targets and customer satisfaction, initiative, autonomy, and propensity to work in a team
- Availability for frequent business trips on a national level, and sometimes internationally
- Proficiency in both English and Italian
- Eligibility to work in Italy
