Join Our Team as a Senior Commissioning and Service Engineer for Building Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning and Service Engineer for Building Automation to join our team at Siemens S.p.A. in Milan. As a key member of our Services Smart Infrastructure division, you will be responsible for commissioning activities for new installations and maintenance activities on existing sites, focusing on COMFORT products and systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical tasks such as programming and commissioning of products and systems, integration of third-party components into the Siemens BMS, and maintenance tasks.
  • Support and commission using innovative digital solutions and tools developed by headquarters.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to customers and resolve arising issues.
  • Coordinate on-site operations and delivery activities, ensuring execution according to organizational guidelines.
  • Ensure project execution follows best practices and Siemens policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress.
  • Participate in technical design and development for commissioning/service offerings.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental rules and policies applicable to each location.
Requirements:
  • Technical High School Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Information Technologies/Electrical/Automation Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Engineer within comfort products.
  • Knowledge of standard communication protocols BACNET, KNX, LON, MODBUS, DALI.
  • Knowledge of popular computer technologies: desktop and server Windows operating systems, IP networks.
  • Knowledge of basic operating principles of air conditioning, electrical, and lighting systems.
  • Knowledge and ability to read electrical panel diagrams.
  • Knowledge of and ability to program the PXC product family will be considered a criterion of preference.
  • Knowledge of and ability to program the Desigo CC platform will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate and prepared to manage issues related to technological innovation and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong orientation to reach targets and customer satisfaction, initiative, autonomy, and propensity to work in a team.
  • Availability for frequent business trips on a national level, and sometimes internationally.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian.
  • Willingness to learn about new and innovative technologies.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
