Senior Procurement Operations Specialist
As part of AXA Group's strategic initiative to enhance our service offerings, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Procurement Operations Specialist. This role is pivotal in aligning procurement strategies with the overarching goals of our innovative Digital Commercial Platform (DCP).
The DCP initiative aims to revolutionize our approach to insurance by integrating protection, prevention, and services, thereby enhancing our value proposition to clients. The Senior Procurement Operations Specialist will contribute significantly to this transformation by managing the acquisition of essential goods and services that support both daily operations and long-term projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier suppliers and negotiate contracts that ensure favorable terms regarding pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Oversee procurement activities to ensure organizational alignment, identify optimal sources for supplies and services, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers, addressing performance issues and collaborating with stakeholders for resolution.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that leverage digital solutions and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and AXA standards while monitoring adherence to relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with finance teams throughout the procurement cycle to assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Drive transparency in spending and optimize procurement processes in partnership with stakeholders.
- Promote ethical procurement practices and lead by example in implementing efficient processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in supply chain management, finance, operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in delivering significant savings and value through effective procurement strategies.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Familiarity with financial principles related to budgeting and cost management.
- Analytical mindset with a creative approach to enhancing procurement policies.
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement methodologies, including supplier relationship management and category management.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong communication abilities to effectively engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
