We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Monitor to join our team at Fcsserves. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a sober living environment and promote recovery skills among residents.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed, consulting with supervisors and house managers.
- Establish trusting relationships with clients, modeling awareness and behavior necessary for growth and development.
- Monitor participants' use of services and treatment, and impact on independence.
- Provide accurate shift reports on a daily basis.
- Participate in team planning, case reviews, and program goal achievement.
- Attend agency and training meetings as requested.
- Valid Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant Licensure.
- Two years of experience in the substance use field, with knowledge of crisis intervention and emergency services.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain clinically effective relationships with clients.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and motor vehicle liability insurance.
