Resident Monitor

Fcsserves is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Monitor to join our team. As a key member of our residential services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive living environment for our residents.

• Maintain a Sober Living Environment: Create a safe and supportive living environment that promotes recovery and well-being among residents.
• Crisis Intervention and De-escalation: Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed, consulting with supervisors and house managers as required.
• Establish Trusting Relationships: Establish trusting relationships with residents, modeling awareness and behavior needed for growth and development.
• Monitor Resident Progress: Monitor residents' use of services and treatment, and impact on independence.
• Provide Accurate Shift Reports: Provide accurate shift reports on a daily basis.
• Participate in Team Planning: Participate in team planning, case reviews, and program goal achievement.
• Attend Agency Meetings: Attend agency and training meetings as requested.
• Comply with Agency Policies: Comply with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.

• Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant Licensure: Valid Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistance Licensure required.
• Clinical Interview Methods: Ability to conduct clinical interviews and develop treatment plans.
• Crisis Intervention and Emergency Services: Skills in crisis intervention and emergency services.
• Substance Use Field Knowledge: Specialized knowledge of the substance use field.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Establishing Clinically Effective Relationships: Ability to establish and maintain clinically effective relationships with residents.
• Agency Requirements: Ability to meet agency requirements for criminal background check and maintain a valid Ohio driver's license.

Valid Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistance Licensure.

Two years experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
