Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team at Poppi Technologies. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our system solutions and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and define, document, and implement system test plans and test cases.
  • Write, design, and execute automated tests to ensure requirements are met and highlight issues accordingly.
  • Analyse tests' results to ensure requirements are met and highlight issues accordingly if they are not.
  • Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the application.
  • Write documentation for the automation process, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
  • Test features and changes made by the development team.
  • Participate in planning, analysis, test design, execution, and debugging to implement end-to-end integrated solutions successfully.
  • Responsible for testing bugs as needed.
  • Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role involving verification or validation of large or complex distributed systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing, creating, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience writing automated REST API tests with scripting and automation tools using Postman and similar tools.
  • Proven ability to accurately test, analyse, evaluate, and report results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with GitLab to build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience in working with service-oriented structures such as Microservices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in a science or engineering discipline, with solid foundational knowledge of software, and/or process engineering.

Desirable:

  • Experience with configuration management tools and distributed version control.
  • Knowledge on configuring firewalls, modems, and VPNs.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Relevant Testing Qualifications such as ISTQB Foundation – Software Testing.
