About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Kardex. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our products, applications, and service solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide preventative and corrective maintenance of Kardex systems and solutions
  • Complete jobs in a timely manner according to set quality standards
  • Deliver customer training on operator, health and safety, and maintenance procedures
  • Generate leads and opportunities for Kardex products and services
  • Manage administrative tasks, including reporting and personal spare parts inventory
  • Provide remote diagnostics and on-call service to customers
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC and software issues
  • Understand, promote, and advise on Kardex Remstar products and services

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a good general standard of education and relevant technical experience. You should have a strong background in mechanics, electronics, or electrical engineering, and hold a CompTIA A+ certification or similar experience.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in field customer service
  • Familiarity with diagnostic methods
  • Basic computer skills
  • Technical, mechanical, or electronic experience
  • Experience with interfacing and integrating mechatronic machines into software systems like warehouse management and ERP
  • Experience in industrial communication (Field bus, Ethernet, etc.)
  • Experience with onsite health and safety
