We are seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the implementation and direction of cost estimates for assigned projects and proposals. This role is responsible for ensuring that departmental and company requirements are met in responding to estimating requests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop the estimate plan
  • Coordinate estimated development with the proposal team
  • Lead the development of the total project estimate
  • Prepare the total project basis of estimate
  • Prepare the estimate uncertainty analysis
  • Make cost contingency recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Accredited engineering degree in chemical or mechanical field of study
  • At least 6 years of work-related experience in oil & gas, energy & chemicals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge
  • Ability to attend to detail
  • Ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Other Job Requirements:

  • Stay abreast of current estimating techniques by maintaining expertise
  • Be active in knowledge management
