We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team at Tekprostaff. As a key member of our technical marketing support team, you will play a critical role in providing expertise to our customers and partners in the development and implementation of complex applications.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Field Sales: Work closely with our field sales team to identify and pursue targeted industry opportunities and accounts, utilizing internal selection tools to drive business growth.
- Vendor Integration: Collaborate with component vendors to integrate our products into designed packages, offering tailored solutions to specific industry targets.
- Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis of new inquiries and quotations, ensuring alignment between our company and sales force.
- Customer Support: Review customer inquiries and project requirements to establish scope of supply limits and costing, developing detailed comments to client project specifications.
- Technical Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation of non-standard product requests, applications, and capabilities, working with Sales, Customers, and Vendors to obtain project-specific information.
- Documentation: Prepare technical data for internal and external customers, documenting and communicating results of technical data generated.
- Project Management: Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and/or tasks, consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with one to two (1-2) years' experience in the rotating equipment industry.
- Project Management: Basic knowledge in Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Lean Six Sigma: Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma CI best practices, White belt level.
