Job Summary:FAO is seeking a motivated and dynamic consultant to serve as a Climate Foresight and Scenarios Development Expert. The consultant will assist in analyzing climate-related risks and opportunities in the agriculture sector, involving various stakeholders in a tailored foresight planning process.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the preparation of national participatory, agriculture and climate foresight and climate-smart options assessments for three participating countries.
- Assist with the organization and implementation of Foresight Workshops, as well as the related reports.
- Develop the Regional Multi-Stakeholder Consultation Report, including conducting a multi-stakeholders influence mapping for each country and at the ASEAN level.
- University degree in climate change, land use management, agricultural economics, development economics, project management and business administration, or a related topic.
- At least five years of relevant experience in policy advice and analysis relating to foresight and scenario development to inform policy and planning exercises related to food and agriculture systems and climate change.

- FAO does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process.

- Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment, accreditation, any residency or visa requirements, and security clearances.
