Join Our Team as a Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standard Auditor

Ecolab, a leading provider of food safety and brand protection solutions, is seeking a part-time Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standard Auditor to join our team in Milano. As a Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standard Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting on-site evaluations and training programs to help our clients maintain the highest standards in food safety, cleanliness, guest experience, and brand protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct food safety, brand standards, and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations
  • Consult, coach, and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices
  • Work with account management teams to resolve client challenges
  • Perform a budgeted number of audits weekly to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Access and leverage industry-leading food safety practices and ongoing, active monitoring of health inspection information
  • Provide accurate reporting and ensure effective customer communication and relationships
Requirements:
  • Completed bachelor's degree in food science-related subject
  • Food safety certifications preferred, such as HACCP, ISO22000, BRC, or NEHA (RS, REHS, or CP-FS) credentials
  • Retail food safety experience and reviews of brand standards
  • Teaching or coaching experience in a food-related field
  • Strong relationship management and advanced consulting skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively without supervision, demonstrate initiative, common sense, and superior decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle tasks, and work efficiently against deadlines
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Level 4 Food Safety qualification
  • Completed bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality; or demonstrated experience in the food/hygiene industry
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends depending on business needs
  • A valid driver's license
  • No immigration sponsorship available
  • Working/high-level English and Italian
