About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team in Taranto, Italy. As a key member of our Construction Department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and competitive construction bids that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the construction bid response process and negotiate contracts with international customers.
  • Assess construction scope and develop tactical plans to optimize proposal engagement and provide clarification.
  • Collaborate with Construction departments and other Vestas functions to ensure competitive cost alignment and project strategy.
  • Maintain an overview of major construction risks during the sales phase and implement lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Report, analyze, and evaluate post-precalc results to optimize cost and profitability of Vestas projects.
  • Support business improvement initiatives to ensure value-added solutions and participate in the development of new construction processes.
Requirements
  • Technical degree in Engineering, construction, logistics, or a similar field.
  • Relevant Project Management certification (PMP or similar).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management in the energy sector, with a preference for renewables.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in working with bids and negotiations.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with a second European language a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, DDBB, SAP, and Power BI.
