Patent Attorney - Biotechnology Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney with expertise in the Biology and Biotechnology fields to join our team at Omega Consulting Group GmbH in Rome. As a member of our Patent Team, you will work with a diverse range of national and international clients, including pharma companies, research institutions, start-ups, and universities, providing IP advice and support in all aspects of patent law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise and support clients in patent drafting, prosecution, and litigation
  • Provide patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate opinions on biotechnology innovations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality services to clients
Requirements:
  • University Degree in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Patent Attorney, preferably in private practice
  • European patent attorney qualification; partial qualification will be considered
  • Strong experience in life sciences and biotechnology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
