Patent Attorney - Biotechnology Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney with expertise in the Biology and Biotechnology fields to join our team at Omega Consulting Group GmbH in Rome. As a member of our Patent Team, you will work with a diverse range of national and international clients, including pharma companies, research institutions, start-ups, and universities. Your responsibilities will include advising and supporting clients in all IP aspects, from drafting and prosecuting patent applications to providing patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate opinions on biotechnology innovations.

Requirements:
  • University Degree in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Patent Attorney, preferably in private practice
  • European patent attorney qualification; partial qualification will be considered
  • Strong and documented experience in the fields of life sciences and biotechnology
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with the team
  • Capacity to advise and support a variety of national and international clients
  • Commitment to excel in client care and provide personalized services
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple cases simultaneously
Location:

Remote working is possible, but you may be required to travel to Rome a few times a month for strategic meetings.
