About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Cloud Solution Consultant to join our Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring that our clients' business goals and technical requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working closely with Marketing Cloud Technical Architects and Project Managers to ensure on-time and fully functioning integrations and enhancements.
  • Lead consultative engagements with clients on the technical and business challenges related to their digital marketing initiatives, providing expert guidance on the application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education.
  • Contribute to customer success through front and backend solution development and release management, delivering high client satisfaction (CSAT) and providing guidance on the creation of application and technical design documents that leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customer's infrastructure.
  • Manage customer expectations, negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners, and build relationships with business partners, internal and external, to contribute to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Ability to create a solution based on client requirements, including data flows, journeys, etc.
  • Lead inter-team meetings on the technical and business challenges related to customer Marketing Operations initiatives.
  • Understand and map Business Processes & Challenges into our technical product suite, ensuring scalable, secure, comprehensive solution designs.
  • Clearly and articulately document solutions, including artefacts like code samples, screenshots, etc.
  • Present high-level overviews of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and integration capabilities.
  • Design and implement solutions to operational needs and challenges, working with Technical Architects (TA) to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify project issues/risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve.
  • Conduct solutions testing and validation.
  • Travel to client sites for onsite discovery and solutions presentations, with occasional travel expected (up to 25% - 50% throughout the year).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge in Marketing Cloud advanced implementations, with 2+ years direct experience in the platform.
  • Proven track record of working with multi-stakeholder teams, specifically IT, M&A, Infrastructure/Security, Sales/Business Operations.
  • Familiarity with data architecture/schema, including relational data models and SQL syntax, documentation of data models, and data flows.
  • Familiarity with Network Protocols and Services (DNS, HTTP, HTTPS), APIs (SMC, CRM, SOAP/REST), object-oriented programming and design with.NET, Java, and/or PHP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, or Web Analytics preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Google Docs, MS Office Suite, Quip collaboration.
