Governmental Affairs and Patient Access Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as a Governmental Affairs and Patient Access Director. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies to gain and maintain access to our products in the Italian market and supporting the MAG-C Region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical industry experience, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in market access positions. They will also have extensive knowledge of Pricing & Reimbursement processes at National & Regional/Local level, with direct experience in HTA dossier submissions & negotiation in Italy.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of market access strategy, opportunity and risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market access strategies to gain and maintain access to our products in the Italian market and supporting the MAG-C Region.
- Establish and maintain long-term and trustful collaboration/partnership with institutions and payers at national & regional level.
- Negotiate with health authorities pricing and access conditions for Sobi portfolio drugs and supervise the updating of internal tracking system.
- Supervise and monitor market access and health policy environment, early identify new trends, disseminate strategic, operational and financial implications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and +5 years in market access positions.
- Extensive knowledge on Pricing & Reimbursement processes at National & Regional/Local level (+ MAG-C), with direct experience in HTA dossier submissions & negotiation in Italy.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategic insights into practical, well-designed access initiatives to support value of brands.
- Leadership skills both in cross-functional teams and access team.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of market access strategy, opportunity and risks.
