You'll also collaborate with the design team to incorporate design for manufacturability and improve existing production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical management of new manufacturing processes
- Design and implement new production flow for complex systems
- Ensure manufacturing systems are capable of hitting volume rate, cost, and quality targets for new programs
- Advising on design improvements for components, subsystems, procedures, equipment, and tooling
- Support facilities development, floor layout, and material flow definition
- Continuous improvement to current operations to enhance efficiency
- Identify, design, and implement tooling for the production phases
- Identify automation opportunities
- Author technical documents
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing & Production Engineering environment within the Aerospace industry
- Expertise in the industrialization of new products
- Knowledge of assembly processes and testing and detailed experience of all types of Manufacturing Systems
- Hands-on experience with complex systems
- Strong background in cost breakdown and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional proficiency in English
- University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Experience in implementing automation into production processes
- Expertise in KPIs
- Familiar with continuous improvement philosophies
- Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS)
- Fluency in Italian
