About Vantage Data Centers

Vantage Data Centers is committed to delivering exceptional data center services, and we're seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on data center equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of data center infrastructure with IT systems.

Requirements

  • Technical training in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data center operations, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
