Job Description

**Job Title:** Operational Planning Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Operational Planning Manager to join our team at Thales Alenia Space. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our projects from bid to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bid and Project Structure: Support the structuring of the project from the bid phase and ensure a smooth transition between the bid and the project by establishing the baseline.
  • Resource and Planning Management: Provide expertise and know-how in planning techniques and tools, ensure the definition and maintenance of the PERT and Integrated Master Schedule, and contribute to them starting from the bid phase.
  • Control and Reporting: Ensure the consolidation of the bid and project deliverables according to the client's expectations, alert on deviations and drifts, analyze root causes, and propose solutions to reduce them.
  • Risks and Opportunities: Be a key player in the identification of risks and opportunities from the bid phase, initialize and maintain the risk and opportunity register (including mitigation plans) from the bid phase.
  • Bid and Project Reviews: Assist the capture leader/bid manager in the preparation of gates and bid reviews, manage, with the project manager, the preparation of gate reviews and project reviews, and ensure the timeliness of bid and project reviews.
  • Finance (Costs, Revenue, Cash): Assist in the preparation of the quotation file during the bid phase, in coordination with the controller, ensure the allocation of the project budget, evaluate the actual costs, challenge the Estimate To Complete and the schedule, and consolidate the financial situation and ensure invoicing.
  • Data Management: Assist in the preparation and control of the bid documentation, initialize and maintain the non-technical requirements compliance matrix, initialize and update the data management and action management tools, and organize and manage the bids and project files.
  • Capitalization: Prepare and record a quantitative capitalization of bids and project management activities, collect and analyze lessons learned throughout the project life cycle, prepare the closing review (data archiving, closing of the project baseline,...), and share within the bids and project community concerned.
