HBK is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the transportation industry, offering real-time software, simulator, and hardware-in-the-loop solutions to virtually test products throughout the development cycle.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulator Maintenance Engineer to join our team at HBK. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for coordinating predictive and corrective maintenance for our driving simulator customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with driving simulator systems
  • Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance at customer sites
  • Timely respond to corrective maintenance requests from customers
  • Supervise contractors and maintenance technical staff
  • Coordinate with procurement to order components and stock supplies and equipment
  • Create maintenance procedures
  • Keep records of faults and repairs
  • Deliver driving simulator trainings
  • Support product delivery team in project management and installation activities

Requirements

  • Completed training as vehicle mechanic/vehicle mechatronics engineer or similar qualification
  • Assessment capability of customers' technical issues and requirements
  • Fluent in English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments involving multitasking, under pressure, to a deadline activities
  • Responsiveness to customer requests, coordinating solutions with team members
  • Availability to frequent travels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience in the use of driving simulator and related software
  • Knowledge of VI-grade software suite
  • Knowledge of systems architecture and networks
  • Expertise in electronic/mechanical applications
  • Knowledge of maintenance and quality assurance procedures and regulations
