Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled C/C++ Software Engineer to join our team in Bari, Italy. As a key member of our software development team, you will contribute to the complete cycle of space software development, from requirements to implementation, test, and validation. Your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining software tools to support on-board software development, improving software quality and maturity, and dealing with embedded systems, micro-controllers, and FPGA programming interfaces.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a relevant discipline
  • Strong skills in software engineering and object-oriented programming
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and other relevant languages
  • Excellent English and Italian language skills
  • Experience with space systems, space communication protocols, embedded systems, and micro-controllers
  • Knowledge of HW acceleration devices and their programming frameworks
  • Experience with system validation, digital signal processing, and knowledge of ground support equipment and check-out systems
  • Knowledge of on-board processors and processing architectures
  • Experience with FPGAs or low-level hardware programming
  • Model-based engineering, software testing, and validation approaches for space applications
  • Aerospace software systems applicable standards and software development practices
