Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Bari, Italy. As a key member of our space systems engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing space systems, from mission concepts to system components, and ensuring their implementation and verification.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop space systems, including mission analysis and development, software engineering, and object-oriented programming.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to coordinate technical tasks and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of space systems, including on-board software implementation and final user applications.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace software systems applicable standards, such as ECSS-E-ST-40C, and software development practices.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of on-board processors and processing architectures, space communication protocols, and model-based engineering.
  • Participate in software testing and validation approaches for space applications.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, TLC Engineering, SW Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in space systems engineering, with a strong background in software engineering and object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work within a team to meet specific objectives.
  • Strong relational and communicative skills, with the ability to work with customers and partners.
