Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Systems Engineer to join our team in Bari, Italy. As a Space Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing space systems, turning needs into requirements into specifications, specifications into design, and finalizing design with implementation and verification.

You will be the technical interface with customers and partners and will coordinate technical tasks in the development team. You will contribute to the design and implementation flow of space systems, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.

Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, TLC Engineering, SW Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Space Systems Engineering
  • Skills in space missions analysis and development, space systems engineering, software engineering, and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of aerospace software systems applicable standards, such as ECSS-E-ST-40C, and software development practices
  • Knowledge of on-board processors and processing architectures, space communication protocols, model-based engineering, and software testing and validation approaches for space applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills, strong ability to work within a team, excellent relational and communicative skills, and proactivity
