Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Developer to join our Development team in Statkraft Italy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our renewable energy projects in Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure new project opportunities in Italy, in line with company targets and objectives.
  2. Manage the development process for secured projects, from origination to ready-to-build status, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project delivery teams, commercial, engineering, legal, and procurement departments, to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, public authorities, landowners, and external advisors.
  5. Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and economics, ensuring alignment with company targets and objectives.
  6. Provide expert advice and guidance on local market legislation, regulations, and support schemes, ensuring compliance and optimal project outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Deep understanding of the Italian development process, including site-related activities, interconnection processes, permitting processes, and associated business development costs.
  2. Solid project management skills and experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Knowledge of the electricity market in Italy, including merchant, PPA, and other relevant schemes.
  4. Solid understanding of grid connection processes, including interaction with grid operators, knowledge of Italian regulation, and development roadmaps.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in solar, wind, and storage technology, including main equipment costs and ancillary technologies.
  6. Fluent in both Italian and English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
