Key Responsibilities- Define Operational Frameworks: Develop and implement technical and operational staff structures, including organization, roles, and responsibilities, to maintain and operate the system throughout its lifetime.
- Design Training Programs: Create comprehensive training plans and tools to equip operations staff with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Specify Operations Engineering Processes: Define operation tasks and allocate them to identified operation roles and responsibilities to ensure efficient system operation.
- Develop Infrastructure Requirements: Identify and design the necessary infrastructure, including facilities, offices, and IT hardware, to provide a safe and efficient environment for system operations.
- Establish Ground and Flight Procedures: Develop validated workflow step-by-step procedures for routine and contingency operations, including initial conditions, actions, expected responses, timing conditions, and explanatory comments.
- Conduct Operational Validation: Ensure the Ground Segment, including operations personnel, is capable of carrying out the mission through operational validation.
- Design Operation Support Tools: Develop tools for tracking events, documentation, shift planning, procedure lists, and anomaly tracking to enhance system operation.
- Maintain Spare Parts: Implement a cost-effective stock provisioning, allocation, and management system for spare parts.
- Develop Logistic Support Plans: Identify available or shared resources that can be deployed in support of the mission and those that are procured for the mission.
- Conduct Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety Analysis: Measure the availability of the system and reduce its life cost through RAMS analysis.
- Perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis: Determine the effects of potential failure on equipment and system performance through FMECA analysis.
- Ensure Proper Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation: Define resources, procedures, design considerations, and methods to ensure Ground Segment product and support items are packaged, handled, stored, and transported properly and in conformance with legislation.
- Education: University degree in Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering.
- Experience: Specification of Concept of Operations (ConOps) and Operation Concepts of Earth Observation satellite systems.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Personal Qualities: High motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibility.
