Job Title: Treasury Officer

Join the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as a Treasury Officer and contribute to the organization's mission to eradicate rural poverty and hunger.

Job Summary:

The Treasury Officer will be responsible for providing financial planning and modeling support to the Treasury Services Division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and financial modeling, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support the Treasury Services Division's financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial plans and strategies with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and rating agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and modeling.
Requirements:
  • Advanced university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, modeling, and analysis, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software, such as Excel, and experience with financial planning and budgeting systems.
