About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Cost Targeting Specialist to join our headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the Head of Controlling and functionally to the Head of Target Costing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining financial investments and material costs targets for Exterior Trim Components, working closely with Finance Project Leaders and collaborating with Procurement and R&D departments to improve components costs using cost engineering methodology.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts for Exterior Trim Components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost reduction strategies
- Analyze and optimize material costs, overhead costs, and process costs to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
- Manage and track COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for series models and quarterly tracking of material costs
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial planning and analysis
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in cost engineering, financial planning, and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in cost engineering software, such as Siemens PCM and Lean cost
- Knowledge of economics and accountancy principles
