Position Overview

The Salesforce Customer Data Solutions Architect is a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge in the technical and functional dimensions of customer and healthcare professional engagement, pivotal for the successful execution of Marketing Automation initiatives.

This position demands a high level of expertise concerning the Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) solution, ensuring that projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.

The role encompasses collaborating on the formulation of tailored implementation strategies, engaging with subject matter experts throughout the organization to achieve consensus on viable proposals, and fostering best practices within the CDP community.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural frameworks and solution designs to fulfill project requirements.
  • Collaborate with platform and product stakeholders alongside business representatives to create a comprehensive implementation strategy.
  • Utilize data integration technologies to devise and execute innovative solutions and processes that enhance customer experience strategies and facilitate data ingestion into Salesforce CDP.
  • Partner with both business and technology teams to gather and provide insights on functional and technical specifications.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and innovations, particularly in customer data platforms, marketing automation, data integration, master data management, and digital asset management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Mandatory Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Consultant, Administrator, and CDP Architect.
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications: Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance and Data Privacy principles and regulations is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in Marketing Technology and/or Marketing Data & Analytics.
  • Recent hands-on experience with full lifecycle CDP implementations on platforms such as Salesforce CDP.
  • Background in data management, data transformation, and ETL processes, ideally using cloud-based tools and infrastructure.
  • Expertise in data architecture, particularly in marketing data, utilizing both batch and real-time data ingestion methods.
  • Experience with technologies and methodologies for Marketing, Personalization, and Data Orchestration.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing marketing campaigns, including experience with online ad serving or site serving platforms.
