Sales Area Manager Job Description

Envolve Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Sales Area Manager to join our team. As a Sales Area Manager, you will be responsible for achieving commercial objectives for the assigned area, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the DACH region to support company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify market and customer requirements, develop and execute strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability in the agreed sales territory.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, providing pre-sales technical assistance and defining technical-commercial solutions.
  • Drive creative solutions to minimize the importance of price and maximize the differentiated values of product.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor behaviors, and customer payments behavior, adjusting credit limits as needed.
  • Participate in the annual budget setting process and provide regular reports on market trends, competition strategies, and customer behaviors.

Requirements:

  • Technical education or bachelor's engineering degree.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and oral.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Sales and Business Development B2B in companies operating in businesses focused on selling machines for industrial installations.
  • Experience in the field of heat-transfer or air heat exchangers is a plus.
  • Availability to travel for 30% to 50% of working time.

Location: Based in Belluno, with business trips in the DACH area.
