Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Customer Support Specialist to join our Service Team in Italy. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Customer Support Manager with the following responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to customers, service centers, and repair staff.
  2. Manage requests for spare parts quotations.
  3. Update defect databases.
  4. Act as front office for customers in Italy.
  5. Manage spare parts orders in terms of identifying and controlling critical codes.
  6. Handle requests for spare parts from Italian and foreign customers.
  7. Manage returns of materials and machines for repairs or replacements.
  8. Input defect notifications into the relevant database.
  9. Handle phone requests from Italian customers for technical assistance.
  10. Provide technical support to repair staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
    • Provide expert technical support to customers, service centers, and repair staff.
  • Spare Parts Management:
    • Manage requests for spare parts quotations.
    • Identify and control critical codes for spare parts orders.
  • Database Management:
    • Update defect databases.
    • Input defect notifications into the relevant database.
  • Customer Service:
    • Act as front office for customers in Italy.
    • Handle phone requests from Italian customers for technical assistance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Office Suite.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.
  • Good electrical knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of Oracle (related applications).
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Excellent product knowledge.

Education: High school diploma (Mechanical or Electrotechnical Technician).

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls; stand and walk; and may occasionally stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required.
