About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Solution Architect to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our CoE (Center of Excellence), you will be responsible for developing and delivering engineering software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Pre-sales team to manage technical solutions for RFQ.
  • Analyze market trends and technological landscapes to evolve our offering and propose new trends and high-end technologies.
  • Support qualifying prospection meetings to present and position our offer portfolio throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Support the definition of sales pipeline and go-to-market planning.
  • Work actively in leading and deploying strategic projects.
  • Monitor and propose improvement plans to meet project financial targets.
Requirements
  • A higher education degree in software engineering with practical experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in software engineering, with client-facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role.
  • Proven experience and extended networking in at least one of the following markets: the Railway, Life Science, Aerospace & Defense.
  • Experience of handling different client organizations, business lines, and environments.
  • Outstanding communicator (written and verbal) and networker.
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
  • Experience of working in an international context.
  • A developed understanding of project planning and budgeting.
  • Leading complex and high-value engagements from pre-sales to project awarding.
  • Knowledge of distributed software solutions to build large-scale solutions with the latest generation of technologies on full-stack embedded software development.
  • Ability to manage project financial KPI and targets.
Desirable
  • Experience in modern software technologies, architectures, testing, data processing solutions, automated deployment pipelines, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern paradigms for CD/CI, Agile, and quality assurance.
  • Strategic & Transformation Consulting.
  • Knowledge of automotive, energy, or equivalent sectors.
