Job Overview:

As a Product Assurance Specialist at Airbus Italia S.p.A., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and success of our missions by verifying the adherence of products to industry standards and requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain Product Assurance disciplines to guarantee the safety and successfulness of missions.
  • Interface with customers and disciplines' experts for all Product Assurance and quality aspects.
  • Contribute to the selection, procurement, monitoring, and qualification of Electronic and Electrical (EEE) parts and control the implementation of applicable requirements.
  • Prepare and manage all relevant documentation, including Process Verification Plans and Reports, Mounting Verification Plans, Qualification Plans and Reports, Declared Materials List, Declared Processes List, and Manufacturing Flowcharts.
  • Manage and treat Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), waivers, deviations, and alerts.
  • Execute Key Improvement Plans (KIPs) and Major Improvement Plans (MIPs).
  • Manage suppliers' and internal audits.
  • Participate and contribute to program milestones (e.g., Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Qualification Review) and production reviews (e.g., Manufacturing Review, Delivery Review).
  • Coordinate and perform incoming inspections, as requested.
  • Support Operations and monitor manufacturing activities.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably in aerospace, mechanical, electronics, or telecommunication domains.
  • Good knowledge of ECSS Standard.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or EN 9100 would be an asset.
  • 2 years of experience in the Space and Defence Industry are recommended.

Tool or Product Requirements:

  • Knowledge of NCR management tools (e.g., NCTS, NC-CAPA, Eclipse, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar would be an asset.

Languages:

  • Good knowledge of English, written and spoken, is required.
