Irreo S.R.L., a leading provider of precision irrigation systems, is seeking a highly skilled backend developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in accelerating our growth and helping us become the leading precision irrigation platform in Italy and Europe.

Our company designs, assembles, and markets an automatic system that analyzes satellite data to irrigate crops according to their actual water requirements. We aim to enable operators in the agricultural and ornamental sector to automate their irrigation systems in an intelligent and efficient way to counteract drought problems caused by climate change.

We are looking for a talented individual who can work independently, perform tasks competently, and with minimal supervision, while ensuring the proper functioning of our server-side software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining the server-side part of our software products
  • Optimizing speed, stability, and scalability of servers and developed applications
  • Creating reusable code and libraries for future implementations
  • Creating and integrating APIs
  • Creating and implementing data storage solutions
  • Improving and developing control and communication architecture with our IoT devices
  • Improving and developing smart irrigation management algorithms
  • Developing and maintaining device firmware

We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
