Lead Generative AI Engineer

At Skill-Up, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to take the lead in developing innovative Generative AI solutions tailored for the education sector. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of learning through advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the architecture, development, and deployment of Generative AI models aimed at enhancing educational experiences, including personalized content creation and adaptive learning frameworks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and data analysts, to convert educational requirements into effective technical specifications for AI-driven solutions.
- Design and oversee efficient training pipelines for Generative AI models, ensuring high data integrity, addressing potential biases, and refining training methodologies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI models using methodologies such as A/B testing and continuous feedback loops to guarantee superior results.
- Remain engaged with the latest advancements in Generative AI research, assessing new applications relevant to the educational landscape.
- Guide and mentor junior AI engineers, promoting knowledge exchange and best practices within the team.
- Document intricate technical workflows to facilitate understanding and knowledge transfer among both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advocate for ongoing enhancements in AI development processes, fostering innovation and efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline (or a Bachelor's degree with substantial experience).
- 4-8 years of experience in developing and implementing complex AI/Machine Learning models with a successful track record.
- In-depth understanding of Generative AI methodologies (e.g., GANs, VAEs) and their applications in the educational context.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages, particularly Python.
- Demonstrated capability in managing and optimizing large datasets for machine learning applications.
- Experience in an agile development setting, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Leadership experience in a technical environment, fostering a collaborative and positive atmosphere.
- A strong passion for education and a commitment to utilizing AI to enhance learning experiences.
