Amazon Generative AI Innovation Center (GenAIIC)

The GenAIIC, a pioneering initiative by Amazon, was established to empower AWS customers in harnessing the potential of Generative AI to address complex business challenges, drive innovation, and resolve operational issues.

Your role will involve handling vast amounts of text, images, and diverse data formats to effectively tackle real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage closely with customers to drive adoption and shape the future applications of generative AI technology
  • Lead and grow a high-performing generative AI delivery team
  • Identify opportunities for creating reusable technical assets
  • Provide valuable customer and market insights to inform product development
  • Drive revenue growth across customer segments
  • Lead and guide customer engagements towards successful adoption
About the Team:

As an Applied Science Manager, collaborate with tech and business teams to develop cutting-edge generative AI solutions.

Be accountable for directing a team of data scientists, architects, and engineers to deliver state-of-the-art generative AI solutions.

Desired Qualifications:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD or MSc in Computer Science or related fields with industry experience
  • Previous experience in managing scientists or ML engineers
  • Strong knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval, and Analytics
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements effectively
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience developing machine learning models for real-world applicationsExpertise in generative AI and deploying Large Foundational ModelsFamiliarity with AWS AI servicesExcellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
