About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Project and Programme Management team within Arup's Milan Office.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives;
  • Coordinate tasks, ensuring work quality meets required standards;
  • Effectively manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources;
  • Prepare and present project reports to clients, summarizing key issues and providing strategic advice;
  • Develop and maintain project plans, records, reports, logs, and registers;
  • Support the preparation and delivery of tender submissions and presentations;
  • Contribute to the development of project management skills within the team;
  • Visit construction sites to monitor progress, ensuring compliance with schedules and updating on working status, issues, and critical situations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in architecture or building engineering;
  • Proven experience in project management and related areas across various projects;
  • Fluency in both Italian and English languages;
  • Experience in fitout projects;
  • Experience working on-site;
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Strong interest and experience in Sustainability;
  • Good understanding of fitout elements design;
  • Knowledge of quality standards, methods, and materials for millwork and interior finishes;
  • Developed interest and knowledge in procurement;
  • Ability to manage small-scale projects and support senior PMs on large-scale projects;
  • Able to develop and maintain successful client and team relationships;
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, including formal and informal presentations, written communications, and reports;
  • Able to demonstrate good commercial awareness;
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD;
  • Availability to travel within Europe.
