Regional Child Youth Program Director

The Regional Child Youth Program Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, operation, and technical direction of the Child Youth Program (CYP) in the naval region. This includes ensuring the overall successful administration and operation of various departments and services within the CYP.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Regional Child Youth Program Director will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with national accreditation standards
Providing technical assistance and program oversight to ensure quality of programs and services
Assisting commands in achieving and maintaining national accreditation
Implementing developmentally appropriate programs and curriculum based on industry standards
Budgeting and Financial Management
The Regional Child Youth Program Director will be responsible for developing and establishing budgets for the CYP, including analyzing financial data and submitting reports and recommendations.
Personnel Management
The Regional Child Youth Program Director will exercise direct supervision over Regional CYP positions, evaluating personnel performance and recommending personnel actions as necessary.
Policies and Procedures
The Regional Child Youth Program Director will initiate, coordinate, and administer changes and revisions to regional policies and procedures, providing interpretation and guidance as needed.
Communication and Compliance
The Regional Child Youth Program Director will represent the Commander Naval Region at conferences and meetings, maintaining liaison and communication with other Fleet & Family Readiness Programs and higher authority components.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a valid state driver's license, be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport, and pass a pre-employment physical.
